Discover the perfect balance of work, relaxation, and cultural immersion during ViNomad Workation Week, where you’ll experience the best of Central Istria’s rich heritage, scenic landscapes, and local enogastronomy. Our carefully curated program offers something for everyone—whether you’re looking to improve productivity, connect with fellow remote workers, or explore the heart of rural Croatia.

 

Day 1: Monday – Arrival & Welcome Dinner

Morning/Afternoon

  • Check-in at Banki Green Village: Settle into your eco-friendly accommodation in Central Istria’s serene countryside.
  • Networking Afternoon: Meet other participants and enjoy a relaxed afternoon networking over local refreshments.

 

Evening

  • Welcome Dinner: Join us for an outdoor dinner at a local konoba (traditional tavern), featuring Istrian specialties like Boskarin beef, prosciutto, and local wines. You’ll get a taste of what’s to come throughout the week while making meaningful connections with fellow nomads.

Day 2-4: Tuesday – Thursday – Free Workshops & Activities

Over the first few days, participants can enjoy a variety of free workshops and coworking sessions that are open to both nomads and the local community. These sessions are designed to spark collaboration, provide professional development, and immerse you in the region’s unique offerings.

Day 2 (Tuesday) – Work & Wine Pairing

Morning

  • Workshop: Social Media Marketing for Local Businesses
    Led by digital nomads, this session focuses on providing local Istrian entrepreneurs with social media strategies for the modern business landscape.
 

Afternoon

    • Wine Tasting Workshop at Domaine Koquelicot Winery
      A hands-on introduction to Central Istria’s famed wines with WSET Level 4 expert Jacqueline Marovac. Learn about wine tasting and food pairings, while enjoying the scenic vineyard.
Day 3: (Wednesday) – Productivity and Nature

Morning

  • Coworking Session at the House of Wine
    Work from this unique coworking venue set among Istria’s rolling vineyards, offering a tranquil environment for focused productivity.

Afternoon

  • Guided Walk Through Central Istria
    Reconnect with nature during a guided hike through Istria’s stunning landscapes, hosted by Saroa Agency. Unwind from your workday and immerse yourself in the region’s rich natural beauty.
Day 4 (Thursday) – Leadership & Enogastronomy

Morning

  • Workshop: Leadership in Remote Teams
    Led by a seasoned digital nomad, this workshop explores strategies for effective leadership in distributed teams, offering insights into managing productivity across different time zones.

 

Afternoon

  • Cooking Workshop with a Local Chef
    Learn to prepare Istrian specialties like Fuži (traditional pasta) and truffles at this interactive cooking workshop.

 

Evening

  • Networking Dinner: Enjoy a meal with local entrepreneurs and digital nomads, sharing insights and making valuable connections.

Day 5: Friday – Nomads-Only Day

Morning

  • Exclusive Coworking Session at House of Prosciutto
    This exclusive session allows nomads to work in a relaxed, rural venue while sampling some of the region’s best prosciutto and wine.

 

Afternoon

  • Professional Development Workshops
    Nomads will lead and attend sessions focused on personal branding, B2B sales, and mastering remote work tools.

Evening

  • Evening Wine Tasting & Dinner
    Join us for an exclusive dinner at a local winery, featuring premium wines and a special menu highlighting Central Istria’s enogastronomy. This is the perfect way to wind down the week with fellow nomads.

Day 6-7: Saturday – Outdoor Adventures

The final days of the week are dedicated to outdoor activities and relaxation, allowing participants to explore the beauty of Central Istria and rejuvenate after a week of productive work and networking.

 

Day 6 (Saturday) – Scenic Exploration


Morning

  • Cycling Tour through the Istrian countryside
    Enjoy a guided cycling tour across Istria’s scenic roads, passing by vineyards, olive groves, and historic sites.

 

Afternoon

  • Cellar Door Experience
    Visit local wineries and meet winemakers while sampling some of the region’s finest bottles during this unique cellar door cycling experience.

 

Day 7 (Sunday) – Departure Day


Morning

  • Farewell Breakfast
    Share a final meal with the ViNomad community at Banki Green Village before departure.

 

Afternoon

  • Optional Extension: If you’re staying longer, we can help you plan additional experiences such as visiting nearby historical towns or exploring Central Istria’s natural landmarks.
